The Peninsula brings a taste of Asian luxury to the centre of Chicago. Visitors to the original Peninsula in Hong Kong will be reminded of that hotel when they see the large lobby restaurant.
Guest rooms are spacious with marble bathrooms. There is a full range of suites.
Peninsula hotels are particularly noted for their quality of service and this hotel has won numerous awards, including the ‘Number One Large City Hotel award for the Continental US and Canada’ in the Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards 2011.
Don’t miss the two restaurants, the Shanghai Terrace and the Pierrot Gourmet. The spa, on the 20th floor, is one of the best in the city with an indoor pool on the 19th floor and has stunning views of Chicago.
Serious drinkers will love the bar with its eclectic selection of whiskies.
