The plain looking building and lack of a large vehicular approach belie the fact that a very pleasant hotel lurks inside.
With just 37 rooms, this relatively new hotel opened in 2010.
A big advantage of this new build is that the property is all on one level. All rooms have terrace and a garden and a particular feature – an outdoor shower.
The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and complimentary water in all the rooms as well as an iPod docking station. Superior rooms have Espresso machines.
The outdoor pool, along with the accommodation is set in landscaped grounds, filled with scented plants. There are plenty of sunbeds to laze about on.
The restaurant is named after the novelist Colette, who lived in the area in the 1920s. The chef is local and believes in using fresh produce from the area. His cuisine is mainly Mediterranean with some African and Asian touches.
There is a small spa with two treatment rooms.
A car would be useful if staying here but not essential as the hotel can organize trips to St Tropez centre.
If you like modern, you will love this hotel in its peaceful location.
